This was taken as soon as I got home from my most recent surgery. Zachary had just come from North Carolina and this was the first time that I had seen him in about three months (not our longest stretch, but enough time for me to miss him to the point of it breaking my heart). I did not care that I most likely looked awful; or that I just had my knee and femur operated on: I just wanted a picture with the love of my life.

Goodness gracious my husband is scrumptious. Seriously, look at how adorable.

This is my love, Benjamin Bagheera and my husband, Zachary Thompson. I love them both so much. Zachary is a Marine and goes away often. The longest that he has been away is 11 months. Benjamin never forgets Zachary and loves on him every moment that he can.

This is my daughter, Adalei and my new kitten. This kitten is too young to be correctly sexed; as it is about three weeks old. This poor kitten was orphaned and my husband let me take it in. Although I have been the one cleaning, bottle-feeding and caring for this kitten: it has taken a special liking to my one year old. It follows her around the house, sleeps with her and plays with her.
